Every three months, each CDW provides a report on what they have been doing in each of these communities, and what they plan on doing next. The last reports were delivered in July 2010, describing the work completed between the beginning of April 2010 and the end of June 2010.
Progress/Achievement
- Continue to lead on the Quality Assurance Framework (QAF) for the Community Development Service. Submitted self assessment and portfolio.
- Attended 'New Horizons' conference
- Continue working in partnership with Community Links deaf community development worker
- Worked in partnership with Leeds Refugee Forum for Refugee Week
- Met with Yorkshire Fullah Community to promote Touchstone services and create a platform for future partnership work
- Worked in partnership with Leeds Refugee Forum for Refugee Week Cultural Day event
- Met with Leeds Sudanese Community Association to planning mental health awareness sessions
- Held a stall to promote Touchstone services, health, mental health and well-being at Leeds African Cup of Nations (LACON)
- Attended Leeds Refugee World Cup event
- Support follow colleague with an Interpreters Workshop held in partnership with Refugee Council
- Attended UK Youth and Offending System Workshop hosted by BME Network
- Held a stall to promote Touchstone services, health, mental health and well-being at Leeds Refugee Week Cultural Day Event
- Attended Touchstone Volunteers Project Event
- Meet with the lead of Miss Africa Yorkshire to discuss event and ways in which Touchstone can support event

Difficulties Encountered
- Limitations on the number of community contacts due to conflicting priorities.
Lessons Learned
- Be realistic with time management and allow extra time for the unexpected.
Priorities for Next Quarter
- Establish contacts and strengthen/develop relationships with organisations and community and faith groups across the city
- Strength relations with groups and organisations and explore areas of future partnership
- Establish key priorities for the forth-coming quarter
