Housing Service

Who does it support?

  • People who have housing and mental health support needs (not necessarily formal mental health diagnosis).
  • People aged 16 +
  • We have some places specifically for:

                           - black and minority ethnic people

                           - single parents with children

                           - young people aged 16-25 (Sholebroke Hostel)

  • We cannot provide emergency accommodation
  • We cannot offer accommodation without support
  • Tenants must have daily living skills - we do not offer personal care services, but we can help tenants access this from other organisations.

What does it do?

  • Supports tenants to become more independent
  • Reduces isolation and vulnerability
  • Improves social inclusion
  • Improves mental wellbeing

How is this achieved?

  • Providing temporary accommodation in a variety of houses/flats and a hostel

or

  • Supporting people to remain in their own home (floating support)
  • Key workers enable people to move into permanent accommodation
  • Support planning and review
