Every three months, each CDW provides a report on what they have been doing in each of these communities, and what they plan on doing next. The last reports were delivered in July 2010, describing the work completed between the beginning of April and the end of June 2010.
Progress/Achievement
- Pacesetters facilitation/training manual- proof reading of draft.
- Community Links - continued working in partnership with CDW leading on deaf communities to increase uptake of wellbeing sessions with the deaf community in Leeds.
- LPFT - CPA document for reviewed in team
- Irish intergenerational day - planning and risk assessment of event
- Attended St Gemma's open afternoon with two members of community
- Pacesetters BME Breast Screening: arranged a session on breast screening with Khushi Group which was predominantly Indian women and working on publicity for Muslim women in Chapel Allerton, Harehills and Chapeltown.
- Sundar Mann Dementia cafe: continued publicity, dementia awareness session at Khushi Group organization with new posters
- Patient & Public Involvement NHS Leeds - consulting community on a proposal to improve breast screening services in Leeds through a comments form.
- Shantona Older Women's Group - Breast screening awareness session
- Shantona youth group - session on stress using vulnerability bucket and how stress can manifest in human body.
- Diversity and inclusion forum (LPFT) - Speaker at forum about ward work and language key rings to be piloted with service users.
- Dementia awareness at Namaste Group at Hindu Mandir and Khushi Group and promotion of Sundar Mann cafe.
- Race culture and Ethnicity Training - updated existing package and delivered internally to touchstone staff and volunteers.
- Pacesetters Breast Screening: ongoing partnership work with NHS Leeds.
- Diversity Action Group (DAG) Internal Meetings – guidelines for deaf visitors to touchstone buildings, LGBT Sexuality toolkit, presentation of annual monitoring categories.

- Have clear roles on joint working prior to task/s commencing (partner agreements)

Priorities for the next quarter
- Islamic day centre: Arranging sessions on screening through NHS public health.
- Leeds Festival - preparation for up coming events during the summer
- Namaste Group - two planned sessions in August 2010 around dementia, depression and recovery
- Advocacy Support - Participating in consultation of Financial Inclusion, Health and Social Care Survey.
